The British Chamber of Commerce Panamá announces the annual A Day at the Races which will take place on Saturday the 16th of March 2024 at the Hipodromo Presidente Remon.
A Day at the Races has become a popular attraction in Panama’s entertainment calendar, in which British Equestrian sporting expertise is combined with a major social occasion. It is a very special way of showcasing an important part of British Culture and reflects the interest the Royal Family has in this historic event.
Each year, the event attracts more than 400 guests in the Presidential Suite and adjacent venues to enjoy a sumptuous buffet of food and drink, as well as the highly contested annual ladies hats competitions and gentleman’s outfit competition, whilst 8 exciting races, sponsored by our partners provide the entertainment. There are of course opportunities provided for placing modest wagers and afterwards, music and numerous bars will be in full swing!
